To facilitate a working atmosphere we will only have 120 participants, so if you would like to take part please register as soon as possible. A list of participants will be made available before the event to enable one-to-one matchmaking meetings. (Members from the other cities involved in Living Labs Europe will join the event, including city officials, entrepreneurs and researchers.)

The First European Matchmaking Summit on Mobile and E-Technologies provides the first European platform to integrate supply and demand for mobile services ... in the fields of mCities/mAdministration, mCollaboration/mLearning, mTourism/mMarketing, mLogistics, mHealth and mPayment/mBanking. A European landscape of regional strengths will be presented and matchmaking sessions will allow participating members to highlight innovative showcase solutions. During the mobile services workshops firms will have opportunities to create partnerships and how to bring down market barriers for effective solution transfers. Furthermore, an mProject Exchange Board will allow for participants to communicate future development projects and to invite partners to join. Find companies for one-on-one meetings here For participants actively seeking investments there is in Investment Segment providing an opportunity to present to a group of Venture Capitalists and Business Angels. The hosting Fraunhofer Institute will allow for lab visits and participants will profit from an international audience representing about 30 to 40 million potential customers. Dr. Büscher is the Head of the Unit for Innovation Policy Development, responsible for the Europe INNOVA networks supporting cluster building and financing of Europe's strategic industries. Before joining the European Commission in 1989, Dr. Büscher worked at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Germany for nine years. Subsequently, Dr. Büscher has been Member of the Cabinet of Bangemann, special Adviser for Industrial Aspects of the Information Society, Head of Unit for Standardization, Head of Unit for Industrial Aspects of Electronic Commerce, Head of Unit for E-Business, ICT industries and services.
Prof. Annerstedt is a specialist in international economics and business strategy and works on industrial and other innovation in global economic contexts. At Copenhagen Business School, he holds the UNESCO Chair for Communications, which is part of ORBICOM, a worldwide network of two hundred communications scholars and professionals.

Prof. Sabow is managing director of the KTMP Center of Competence for Telematics, Mobile Computing and Customer, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Traffic and Environment, and President of the Stuttgart Economy and Industry Association. Previously, Prof. Sabow has worked for Ministry of Baden-Württemberg, OECD, Asian Development Bank, and held positions at the Executive Board at DEKRA Inc.
Dr. Rasmussen is a specialist in information technology, diffusion of technology, technical change, knowledge economy and regional innovation and development.Rasmussen is a successful entrepreneur, international consultant, technology specialist and academic, successfully joining industry insights and academic research with international consultancy, innovation and business creation.
Prof. Miranda is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNSA), France, a position he has held since October 1983. Serge Miranda has authored or coauthored more than 90 publications, and published six successful French books on databases (15 Editions). He is presently director of (Master) MBDS the highest French University graduate degree devoted to database systems, Internet and enterprise computing with huge involvement of industry partners at the world level (Oracle, Sun, Microsoft).
Peter Hojerback he has worked for seventeen years in the high-tech and ICT Industry, and os also CEO of Serstech AB. Mr. Hojerback was previously CEO of Precise Biometrics AB, a research-based company that he developed into an internationally leading position in biometrics. Earlier on, Mr Hojerback was Business Unit Manager at Axis Communications, the world number one in network cameras, and he has held a number of managerial positions within the Kockums/Celsius group.

Mr. Kujala has been working during last 15 years for promoting and developing different networks and clusters in the area of Information and Communications Technology. The organizations he has been working for are Tekes ( the Funding Agency for Ttechnology and Innovation), Pöyry Telecom, and Dimes Association. Mr. Kujala has been actively developing the Finnis new initiative "Strategic Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation" for ICT area
Mrs. Mateu is the current director for economic promotion in Sant Sugat del Valles, responsible for the economic development of the city and its integration into the European marketplace. Prior to this position, Mrs. Mateu has held positions in Spanish and International firms such as Hewlett Packard, Deloitte & Touche, Ingenico, e-strategies and Espacio Pyme.
Mr. Antoniola is representing Torino Wireless, aimed at implementing co-operative models within clusters’ enterprises. Mr. Antoniola has held positions for Vodafone Omnitel before managing the start-up phase of the Piedmont ICT technological district and launching the operation of the Infomobility Cluster, the first Italian cluster of companies operating in the Infomobility and Intelligent Transport Systems industry. Mr. Antonial is a specialist in the Intelligent Transport Systems and Sustainable Mobility industry and is author of several national and international publications.
Meinzer is a specialist in best ICT practices identification and international commercial partnerships, innovation & CRM lifecycle management, showroom concepts, and has a particular emphasis on the tourism and travel industries. Meinzer has been successfully creating several companies after a substantial industry experience as executive director with the investment bank Goldman Sachs as well as senior project manager with Accenture.
Liza Wohfart is a specialist in corporate development, strategic planning and knowledge management. She is one of the founders of the Center for Corporate Development at Fraunhofer IAO and a leader of the Special Interest Group "Strategy and Vision" of KnowledgeBoard, a global knowledge management community. Liza Wohlfart is the editor of two books on corporate development / knowledge managment as well as of several scientific papers.
Elizabeth Thrane-Carlsen is the manager of InvestorNet and is coordinating the presentations by entrepreneurs and start-up companies to investors at the InvestorNet segment at this event. She has worked in the area of start-ups on both sides of the table since 1997, by being part of four founding teams before moving into facilitating investments to smaller companies.

Living Labs Europe Living Labs Europe is the pioneering initiative to create a marketplace for innovative cross sector mobile services to the benefit of European citizens, companies and city regions. Members include 22 regional clusters focusing on conducting concrete user driven innovation projects with an international visibility thus aiming at creating transparency for import and export of leading edge mobile solutions.
The Europe INNOVA mClusters network is part of the European Sixth Framework Programme, whose aim is to encourage co-operation among leading and developing clusters in Europe throughout wireless information and communication technology.
