Living Labs Europe

Living Lab Stockholm hosts 700,000 inhabitants - in the entire region between 2 and 3 million - and is a living test-bed for new ICT solutions. Mobile fluency in Stockholm is generally speaking very high.

The number of hot spots is quickly increasing and the penetration rate is almost 100%. Cost for usage is at a European low. The innovative climate in Stockholm is well documented and is reflected in very high innovative capabilities.

Stockholm was one of Europe's first mobile cities, and has subsequently evolve into a living lab. Specialised mobile & wireless clusters exists in the Kista Science City, a suburb to Stockholm City.
