The Living Labs Oresund stretches across the Oresund straight and the
national borders of Sweden and Denmark. The main clusters of the region are
Copenhagen, Malmö, Helsingborg, Helsingør and Lund. This diversity creates
particular advantages for the region.
The Øresund region has excellent IT and mobile infrastructures, a population of
3.5 million with high general use of ICT and mobile phones and a long tradition
of research in mobile technology.
The Living Lab Øresund's ability to introduce new innovations are
excellent thanks to high innovative capabilities and interest in mobile
applications shown from other industry clusters in the region, notably
logistics, construction and health care.

high quality local science parks and incubators, and is characterised by
multiple clusters, with many different industries and competences.
